Project Features

Construction 2.0

This Project follows Development Bureau’s advocacy of “Construction 2.0” which advocates “innovation”, “professionalisation” and “revitalisation”, and through which we are leading the industry to enhance its capacity and sustainability, increase productivity, promote regulation and quality assurance, improve site safety and reduce environmental impact.

New Engineering Contract

This project adopts a new contract form – ‘NEC4 ECC Option C’. the NEC is a contract form that promotes a more collaborative way of working, along with clarity, simplicity, prescribed project management and the incorporation of multiple options that allow the different approaches to be selected based upon the individual works, albeit based around a clear contractual structure.

Digitalization of Site Management

During construction stage, various innovative technologies, including Building Information Modelling (BIM), sensors technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), etc. would be implemented to automate data collection. Analysis of the data collected from various sensors could facilitate construction management and enable the Project Team to resolve problems at earlier stage, reduce construction cost while improving efficiency, quality and construction safety.
